A great opening scene.
The Grudge is based on the Japanese film called Kayako. Depressing, dark, and pessimistic. It mainly gets its scare from a tense atmosphere but can't help refraining from the occasional jump scare.

Scary
Very interesting storyline although the timeline keeps jumping back & forth between timelines. Overall, very scary indeed!

My gf who was afriad of horror so bad, fell asleep. Please do not waste your money. I personally feel that I was super draggy.
