Synopsis

The new year delivers a homicide case of a runaway migrant worker to Wu Jie, a cop grieving the loss of her husband. Elsewhere, another death occurs among a group of undocumented workers. Illicit broker You-Sheng buries the body to prevent the authorities from uncovering the clandestine migrant network. But he becomes implicated in the murders after the police receive a mysterious phone call.
